On the afternoon of January 15, 2025, the Youth Union of Vietnam National Chemical Group organized a conference to review Youth Union work and youth movements in 2025, and to deploy key tasks for 2026. The conference was held in the context of 2025 being the first year of operation for the Group's Youth Union after its merger, marking many outstanding results and clearly demonstrating the pioneering and creative role of the youth across the entire Group.

In attendance at the Conference were Comrade Nguyen Tuan Minh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Member of the Group's Member Council; and Comrade Nguyen Tuan Dũng – Member of the Party Executive Committee and Deputy General Director of the Group. Also attending were members of the Standing Committee, members of the Executive Committee, and members of the Inspection Committee of the Group's Youth Union; as well as the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the grassroots Union branches under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National Chemical Group.

Affirming the Pioneering Role of Chemical Industry Youth

In 2025, faced with the increasing demands of political tasks and production and business operations, the Youth Union work and youth movements of the Vietnam National Chemical Group continued to see many innovations in content and methods of operation. Youth Union levels closely followed the political tasks of their units, proactively implementing emulation movements, and step-by-step affirming the role and position of the Youth Union organization throughout the industry.

Propaganda and political-ideological education work were identified as core, xuyên suốt (consistent) tasks. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style were implemented seriously, linked to the specific professional characteristics of the chemical industry, contributing to improving the political mettle, sense of responsibility, and spirit of dedication of Union members and youth.

Revolutionary Action Movements Create a Distinct Impression

Volunteer youth movements continued to be deployed widely, practically, and effectively, associated with professional tasks and the practical needs of grassroots units and localities. Many youth projects and works were carried out, contributing positively to new rural construction, environmental protection, social security assurance, and sustainable development.
In addition, the “Creative Youth” movement was promoted, focusing on digital transformation, scientific research, technical improvement, and production rationalization. Many initiatives by Union members and youth have been effectively applied, contributing to increased labor productivity, product quality, and the efficiency of professional tasks at various units.

Sharing Experiences, Orienting Tasks for 2026

Within the framework of the conference, subordinate grassroots Union branches participated in discussions, shared experiences, and clarified the results achieved in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2025. Through this, many good models and creative methods were summarized, learned from, and proposed for replication across the entire Group.
On the basis of a comprehensive assessment of the results achieved, the Conference agreed on the orientations and key tasks for Youth Union work and youth movements in 2026, continuing to innovate operational methods and promote the pioneering and creative spirit of the youth to contribute to the successful implementation of the political tasks and production and business operations of Vietnam National Chemical Group.

Directing Speech from Group Leadership

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Tuan Minh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Member of the Member Council of Vietnam National Chemical Group recognized and commended the positive results achieved by the Group’s Youth Union in 2025, especially in the context of the first year of the merger with many difficulties and challenges. He highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity of the team of Union officers, members, and youth across the Group, thereby affirming the pioneering role of youth in implementing political and professional tasks.

He emphasized that in the coming time, Youth Union levels need to continue following the leadership and direction of the Group’s Party Committee; linking Youth Union work and youth movements with the Group's production, business, digital transformation, and green transformation tasks. At the same time, focus on political-ideological education, building a generation of chemical industry youth with firm political mettle, good professional skills, and a high spirit of innovation, ready to take on difficult tasks and new projects, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam National Chemical Group.

In recognition of the results and achievements reached in 2025, many outstanding collectives and individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Government and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam National Chemical Group.

The conference concluded with high consensus, demonstrating the determination of the Group’s youth to continue affirming their pioneering role and accompanying the Group on its new path of development.
