LIX Accelerates Product Diversification, Joins Vinachem in Expanding Growth on VinachemMart
On 21st July, at LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam National Chemical Group organised a working session to discuss product development and digital commerce strategies. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, Member of the Members’ Council and General Director. Attendees included Members of the Members’ Council, representatives of the Supervisory Board, the Group’s Chief Accountant, leaders of specialist departments, the Chemical Trade and Service Center, representatives from the Department for State-Owned Enterprise Development (Ministry of Finance), and leaders of LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation toured LIX’s production line, directly inspecting manufacturing operations, quality management processes, equipment, and technology at the factory. This visit provided Group leaders and specialists with a comprehensive view of LIX’s production capacity, new product development potential, and scope for scale expansion, forming the basis for discussions at the session.
The meeting focused on three main topics: strategies to diversify LIX’s product portfolio to increase revenue on VinachemMart and other markets; a comprehensive plan to upgrade the VinachemMart platform, including livestream features; and alignment of the platform’s accounting and reporting with current regulations.

In the report, LIX leaders stated the company is implementing over 30 new product development projects, targeting four strategic categories to diversify revenue streams and enhance competitiveness. Alongside a complete refresh of the Home Care range, LIX will expand into Personal Care segments such as shower gels, shampoos, handwashes, and skincare, as well as develop Insecticide products and explore new, high-value categories. The company is also strengthening partnerships with domestic and international partners to improve product quality, meet international standards, and expand market reach.
It was agreed at the meeting that product diversification not only opens up new growth prospects for LIX but also adds product variety, strengthens competitiveness, and boosts customer appeal for the VinachemMart e-commerce platform. Participants concurred that product development must align with market demand, consumer trends, and commercialisation potential on digital platforms, thereby creating a seamless value chain from research and production to distribution.
A major area of discussion was the comprehensive upgrade of VinachemMart. The platform will be developed to modern standards, with new features added; the product catalogue will be completed and digital data standardised; the supplier and customer network will be expanded; digital communications intensified; and integration with ERP, DMS, and CRM systems will synchronise sales data. The application of advanced data analysis and forecasting was also identified as a key solution to improve platform efficiency.
Discussions also centred on operational mechanisms and methods for recognising and accounting for VinachemMart’s revenue, to ensure transparent, efficient, and sustainable development in line with Group governance requirements during digital transformation.

In conclusion, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of Vietnam National Chemical Group, praised LIX’s proactive innovation in developing new product lines and expanding markets. He stressed that, in the context of increasingly intense competition in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), LIX must continue to leverage its brand, product quality, modern production system, and research and development capacity to continually grow its portfolio, increase brand value, and consolidate its position as a leading consumer goods enterprise within Vinachem and among Vietnam’s top FMCG companies.
For VinachemMart, the General Director requested ongoing platform upgrades to ensure modernity, intelligence, and a customer-centric approach. VinachemMart must become the Group’s digital commerce infrastructure, connecting member companies, promoting new product sales, expanding markets, and forming a unified e-commerce ecosystem for Vinachem. LIX is expected to be a pioneering enterprise, leading the development of consumer goods and effectively exploiting digital distribution channels, thus driving new growth momentum for the entire Group.
