Over 31,000 km in One Week: “Vinachem’s Progress 2026” Sparks Enthusiasm Across the Group
After just one week since its launch, the online running and walking event “Vinachem’s Progress 2026 – Greening the Chemical Industry” has achieved very positive results, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition and spreading the spirit of fitness and unity throughout the Vietnam National Chemical Group.
Organized on a digital platform via the Strava app connected to 84Race, the event not only contributes to promoting the movement “All people exercise following Uncle Ho’s example,” but also reflects Vinachem’s spirit of innovation, digital transformation, and building a green living environment.
Just one week after official result tracking began (May 15, 2026), the event has attracted a large number of staff, workers, and employees from member units. According to system statistics, the total distance covered by participants has reached 31,438.92 km—an impressive figure that demonstrates the strong appeal of the race within the entire chemical industry.
In the team category, many units have shown solidarity, determination, and consistent performance from the very first days. Leading the rankings is Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company, with a total distance of 4,371.37 km achieved by 75 members. Next is Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company with 3,881.79 km from 90 members, and LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company with 3,571.66 km from 104 members—the unit with the highest number of participants so far.
Other units have also been competing fiercely, such as Ninh Binh Fertilizer One Member Limited Liability Company, Sao Vang Rubber Joint Stock Company, Apatit Vietnam One Member Limited Liability Company, and Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, making the race lively, exciting, and full of enthusiasm throughout the Vinachem system.
In the individual rankings, many participants have achieved outstanding results, far exceeding their set goals. Currently leading is Nguyen Tuan (Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company) with 226.83 km, equivalent to 504% of the target. The next positions are held by Duy Tan Nguyen (Apatit Vietnam One Member Limited Liability Company) with 211.62 km, and Le Cao Tuan (Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company) with 201.86 km.
More than just a sports event, the race has become an activity that connects staff and employees from different member units, contributing to building a positive, dynamic, and modern corporate culture. Images of staff and workers taking advantage of time after work to run and exercise daily are creating a highly energetic competitive spirit across the entire Group.
According to the rules, the race will continue to record results until the end of May 30, 2026. With the spirit of “every step is a leap forward,” the Organizing Committee hopes that units and participants will maintain their enthusiasm and accelerate in the remaining days, further spreading the movement of physical training, green living, and healthy living throughout Vinachem.
