In the joyful and celebratory atmosphere marking International Women’s Day nationwide, on the morning of March 6, 2026, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) solemnly held a friendly gathering to commemorate the 116th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Members’ Council, and General Director of the Group; along with members of the Party Standing Committee, Members of the Members’ Council, the Executive Board, and heads and deputy heads of functional departments. Notably, the gathering also welcomed a large number of female staff members and employees currently working at the Group’s parent company, the Chemical Science and Technology Information Center, and the Chemical Trade and Service Center.

International Women’s Day on March 8 is an occasion for society to recognize and honor the role of women in all areas of life. Throughout history, women have consistently demonstrated resilience, intelligence, and an unwavering spirit of dedication. In whatever role they assume—mother, wife, or colleague—women remain a source of inspiration, a strong pillar of support, and an important driving force for social development.

At Vinachem, female employees have not only consistently fulfilled their assigned duties with excellence but have also played an important role in fostering a professional working environment and laying the foundation for sustainable development and the corporate culture of the Group.

Speaking at the gathering, General Director Nguyen Huu Tu, on behalf of the Group’s leadership, extended his best wishes to all female employees. He expressed his pleasure, emotion, and pride in the achievements the Group attained over the past year. In 2025, Vinachem had many opportunities to promote growth and successfully accomplished its set goals and tasks. State budget contributions exceeded the planned targets, employees’ living standards continued to improve, and the brand reputation and position of Vinachem were further strengthened. These achievements were made possible in part thanks to the important contributions of female staff members throughout the Group. Regardless of their positions, they not only perform their professional duties well but also play a vital role in maintaining family harmony, building happy homes, and spreading positive values in life.

These quiet yet meaningful contributions are always appreciated and recognized by the Group’s leadership.

The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Alongside bouquets of fresh flowers presented as tokens of appreciation, the Group’s leadership also listened to the thoughts, aspirations, and experiences shared by female staff members regarding their work and personal lives.

At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Binh, Member of the Members’ Council, and Ms. Chu Phuong Linh, Deputy Chief of the Group’s Office, received congratulatory flowers on behalf of female employees from Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, General Director of the Group, and Mr. Nguyen Van Luyen, Deputy General Director in charge of the Committee for the Advancement of Women.

Speaking on behalf of female staff members at the gathering, Ms. Chu Phuong Linh expressed her sincere gratitude for the attention and support that the Group’s leadership has given to female employees. She affirmed that such encouragement serves as a strong motivation for women across the Group to continue learning, improving their professional capacity, and striving to fulfill all assigned tasks, living up to the title of “Excellent at Work and Devoted to Family.”

The program concluded with female staff members sharing joyful and meaningful moments together in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.
