National Conference and Exhibition on Vietnam’s Socio-Economic and Cultural Development Achievements

On February 7, 2026, at the National Assembly House in Hanoi, the National Conference for studying, disseminating, thoroughly grasping, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress was solemnly held. This important political event marked the beginning of translating the Resolution into practice, demonstrating the strong determination of the entire Party and people in the new development phase.

The Conference aimed to unify awareness, will, and action throughout the political system, enabling cadres and Party members to fully comprehend the core and innovative contents of the Resolution. It sought to build consensus and determination to successfully achieve the goals of rapid and sustainable development, strengthen national defense and security, and build a strong Party.

Within the framework of the Conference, an Exhibition showcasing outstanding socio-economic and cultural development achievements was organized, attracting significant attention from delegates. The exhibition visually highlighted remarkable accomplishments under the leadership of the Party, particularly during the renovation (Đổi mới) period. Party and State leaders visited the exhibition area prior to the Conference’s opening ceremony. The event contributed to fostering renewed confidence and momentum while affirming the core role of state-owned enterprises—the “locomotives” driving national development.

At the “Green Transformation” exhibition area, the booth of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) had the honor of welcoming numerous senior leaders of the Party, State, and central agencies, who highly appreciated its display. Among the distinguished visitors were: Phạm Thị Thanh Trà – Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister; Ngô Đông Hải – Member of the 14th Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilization; Nguyễn Đức Hải – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Lê Thị Thu Hằng – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Major General Nguyễn Bá Lực – Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army; Senior Lieutenant General Trương Thiên Tô – Member of the 14th Party Central Committee and Deputy Director of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army; and Đỗ Văn Trường – Full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

The leaders spent considerable time listening to presentations on Vinachem’s theme, key products, and green transformation orientation, while acknowledging and highly appreciating the Group’s efforts in developing production in association with environmental protection, applying advanced technologies, and seriously implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

Vinachem – A Core and Pioneering Role under the Theme “Green Transformation”

At this event, Vinachem was honored to be one of the representative units showcasing achievements. As a leading group in the chemical industry, Vinachem consistently and proactively internalizes and concretizes the Party’s major policies. Its participation in the exhibition not only demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility but also provided an opportunity to affirm its tangible contributions to national economic development.

Vinachem has identified green transformation as a strategic pillar and has issued an action program for the 2025–2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The program aims to reduce CO₂ emissions by at least 5% by 2030, increase renewable energy usage to 10%, and move toward carbon neutrality by 2050. Key solution groups include transitioning to cleaner fuels, upgrading equipment, and promoting circular economy models and waste recycling in production.

Key Products Delivering a Message of Sustainable Development

At the exhibition, Vinachem introduced its most outstanding products and achievements, highlighting the theme of “Green Transformation” in its production and business activities. The main product groups on display included:

• Key Fertilizers

Vinachem presented urea, DAP, NPK, and next-generation organic fertilizers, reaffirming its pillar role in serving agriculture and its orientation toward environmentally friendly products to promote sustainable farming practices.

• High-Purity Chemicals for Electronics and Semiconductors

For the first time, Vinachem showcased high-purity chemicals (H₂SO₄, HCl, NaOH, H₃PO₄) used in electronics and semiconductor industries, affirming its high-tech capabilities and contributing to domestic supply chain development and modern industrial growth.

• Reuse of Gypsum Waste

Vinachem introduced artificial gypsum products derived from DAP by-products—an initiative aligned with the circular economy model, helping reduce pollution and conserve resources, and reaffirming its commitment not to trade environmental protection for economic growth.

• Aircraft Tires

The DRC 680x260R355 aircraft tire manufactured by Vinachem demonstrated the Group’s mastery of advanced technologies in service of national defense, reflecting the responsibility of state-owned enterprises in strengthening national security and defense capabilities.

Bringing the Resolution into Practice with Seriousness and Responsibility – Commitment to Sustainable Development

By participating in the National Conference and Exhibition, Vinachem demonstrated a serious and responsible spirit in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. From the beginning of 2026, the Party Committee and Group leadership organized study sessions and developed an action program tailored to the realities of the chemical industry, ensuring “clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear timelines, and clear outcomes.”

Vinachem emphasizes that implementing the Resolution must be associated with concrete actions in each member unit, striving to exceed assigned targets. All cadres, Party members, and employees are encouraged to uphold self-reliance, aspiration for advancement, and emulation in production, contributing to bringing the Resolution into real life.

Building on positive results achieved during the 2021–2025 period, the Group is entering a new phase with the objective of “rapid and sustainable” development. Vinachem commits to innovation, application of modern technologies, digital transformation, green transformation, and operational efficiency enhancement, thereby making meaningful contributions to the national economy. The spirit of “walking the talk—seeing things through effectively” is deeply instilled throughout the entire system.

The Group focuses on implementing advanced, energy-saving, and emission-reducing technologies; integrating circular economy models; promoting technical improvements and production optimization; and strengthening Party building in association with enhancing the pioneering role of cadres and Party members.

With renewed determination following the 14th National Party Congress, Vinachem reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, integrating production and business activities with environmental protection, efficient resource utilization, green growth promotion, and national modernization.
