Vietnam National Chemical Group Participates in the Launch Ceremony of the 2026 Humanitarian Month
On the morning of April 29, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society organized the national-level Launch Ceremony for the 2026 Humanitarian Month with the theme “80 Years – A Compassionate Journey for the Community.” The event was attended by Ms. Bùi Thị Minh Hoài – Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; along with leaders of ministries, departments, international organizations, partners, and the business community.
Representing Vietnam National Chemical Group at the event was Mr. Nguyễn Văn Luyện, Deputy President of the Group.

The ceremony was connected online to 34 provinces and cities, and held directly at four locations: Van Dinh Commune (Hanoi), Thuong Nong Commune (Tuyen Quang), Tuong Duong Commune (Nghe An), and An Cu Commune (An Giang). The event was broadcast live on the Vietnam Red Cross Society’s Fanpage, attracting a large number of officials, members, and volunteers.

The 2026 Humanitarian Month holds special significance as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh—the founder and first honorary president of the organization. With the theme “80 Years – A Compassionate Journey for the Community,” the program is not only an opportunity to look back on the development of humanitarian work, but also aims to build a modern, professional, transparent, and sustainable humanitarian movement for the new development era.
In 2026, the Vietnam Red Cross Society aims to mobilize at least VND 500 billion to implement support activities, provide sustainable livelihoods for 17,000 disadvantaged households, and collect 80,000 units of voluntary blood nationwide.
Affirming Social Responsibility, Spreading Compassion
At the launch ceremony, Vietnam National Chemical Group donated VND 1 billion to the 2026 Humanitarian Month, joining hands to care for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.

This support further affirms the role and responsibility of a core state-owned enterprise in social security. Alongside its production and business tasks, the Group always prioritizes community responsibility, actively participates in humanitarian activities, and helps to spread the value of “mutual support and compassion” in society.
By participating and making practical contributions at this event, the Group also demonstrates its long-term commitment to community activities, aiming for sustainable development that links economic growth with social progress and equity.

The joint efforts of ministries, sectors, localities, organizations, and businesses—including Vietnam National Chemical Group—will be an important resource for effectively achieving the goals of the 2026 Humanitarian Month, thereby widely spreading the spirit of compassion and building a united, sustainably developing society.
