From Remarkable Recovery to the 100 Trillion VND Revenue Target

In his directive speech, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú acknowledged and praised the efforts of all staff and employees throughout the Group.
According to Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, the most notable achievement is not just in the growth indicators but also in the strong transformation of Vinachem after a particularly difficult period.
At the beginning of 2022, the Group faced an accumulated loss of about VND 5,400 billion. The parent company alone recorded a loss of VND 2,953 billion in 2020. However, thanks to unity, determination, and decisive management solutions, Vinachem has now shifted to a positive financial position, with net resources exceeding VND 7,200 billion.
“This is the result of persistent effort and proof of the Group’s governance capacity, vitality, and resilience,” Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú emphasized.
The General Director stated that Vinachem is preparing for the next phase of development, aiming to maintain double-digit growth in the coming years, striving to reach VND 100 trillion in revenue by 2030 and export turnover of USD 1 billion.
To achieve this, the Group will focus on four key directions:
First, implement the Potash Salt Mine Project in Laos, a project considered strategic for Vinachem’s future, contributing to raw material self-sufficiency and expanded development space for the fertilizer sector.
Second, further develop specialized fertilizers, new-generation fertilizers, and environmentally friendly products, aiming to increase market share from about 40–42% currently to 60% by 2030, while expanding exports to key markets such as India, Africa, Cambodia, and ASEAN countries.
Third, shift strongly to high-tech chemical products for the electronics, semiconductor, new energy, and pharmaceutical sectors to enhance added value and competitiveness.
Fourth, accelerate investment in development. From 2026–2030, Vinachem plans to invest about VND 30,000 billion, more than five times the previous period, focusing on key projects, building an R&D Center, digital transformation, lithium battery products, pharmaceuticals, new materials, and other high-growth potential sectors.
A notable announcement made by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú at the Conference was that the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking will be released on June 16. According to preliminary information, Vinachem is likely to be among the top 200 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia.
“I see this as an objective recognition of the Group’s efforts. But this is just the starting point, not the finish line,” Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú said.
The General Director emphasized that growth must go hand-in-hand with efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility. Vinachem must not only expand its scale but also improve growth quality based on science, technology, innovation, and human resource quality.
He called on all staff, Party members, and employees to continue demonstrating responsibility, overcoming challenges, and embracing innovation to achieve the set goals.
“With nearly 20,000 dedicated and experienced employees, I believe Vinachem will accomplish its tasks in the coming period, paving the way toward the Group’s 60th anniversary in 2029 and further enhancing its position in domestic and international markets,” emphasized Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú.

At the conference, Mr. Phùng Ngọc Bộ, Chairman of the Group’s Trade Union, launched the 2026 emulation movement among all staff and employees.
With high consensus, the conference approved the 2026 Parent Company Employee Conference Resolution with 100% approval. The resolution forms the basis for the parent company to implement its 2026 tasks, contributing to the overall development goals of the Group for 2026–2030.
