On 25 October 2026, the DAV Club Fest 2026—the club, team, and group networking day at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam—took place with the participation of a large number of students. Mr. Đào Trọng Cường, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), attended the event and delivered an address at the opening ceremony.

DAV Club Fest 2026 was organised by the Student Association of the Diplomatic Academy in collaboration with the Academy’s Youth Union, bringing together 40 clubs, teams, and groups active in fields such as academics, arts, sports, and culture. During the event, students toured club booths, joined interactive games and minigames, and engaged with partner businesses. Vinachem participated with an exhibition booth introducing the VinachemMart e-commerce platform, promoting products from its ecosystem and strengthening links with students.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Đào Trọng Cường expressed his pleasure to represent the Group at the event, and highly appreciated the significance of DAV Club Fest in providing an environment for students to demonstrate initiative, creativity, networking skills, and community spirit—qualities essential for the new generation of human resources.

Introducing Vinachem, Mr. Đào Trọng Cường noted that the Group is a state-owned enterprise in the chemical industry, comprising 33 member companies focused on fertilisers, chemicals, technical rubber, cosmetics and personal care, electrochemistry, mining, and related services. Products from Vinachem’s member units are now present in over 80 countries and territories. In 2026, the Group was, for the first time, listed in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 at 148th among the region’s 500 largest enterprises.

In the current development context, and in line with Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of the state economy, Vinachem is committed to improving production and business efficiency, ensuring the supply of essential chemicals and fertilisers, and strengthening the country’s economic autonomy. For 2026–2030, the Group aims to become a leading industrial group with advanced technology, modern management, and deeper participation in regional and global value chains.

To achieve this, beyond technology, digital transformation and green transition, Vinachem regards international cooperation as a key strategic direction. According to Mr. Đào Trọng Cường, in the integration process, enterprises require not only quality products but also an understanding of markets, partners, networking methods, and trust building. These are also areas in which Diplomatic Academy students, with their strengths in diplomacy, foreign languages, international economics, and integration, can fully apply their knowledge and abilities.

On this basis, Vinachem wishes to strengthen links with universities, educational institutions, and the younger generation; to create more opportunities for students to access practical business experience and learn about industrial production, commerce, science and technology, digital transformation, and international integration. The Group aims to accompany students in internships, research, innovation, recruitment, and fostering enterprise–university partnerships.

By taking part in DAV Club Fest 2026, Vinachem continues to strengthen ties with educational institutions and young people, expanding opportunities for interaction, practical business exposure, and product promotion within its ecosystem. This serves as a foundation for fostering meaningful cooperation between businesses and universities, developing human resources, encouraging student innovation, and enhancing the integration capacity of Vietnamese enterprises in the future.
