With over 5,000 initiatives generating more than VND 100 billion in benefits, the staff and workforce of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) have demonstrated a spirit of creative labour, contributing to enhanced production and business efficiency.

On 27 October 2026, at the Ministry of Industry and Trade headquarters in Hanoi, the launch ceremony for the “Every Day an Initiative” emulation campaign for the Industry and Trade sector in 2026 took place, along with the initiation of the “Innovation Solution Group – Digital Transformation in Industry and Trade” competition. The event was chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mrs. Phan Thị Thắng.

Mr. Nguyễn Minh Việt Hưng, Deputy Head of the Technical Department of Vinachem, and Mrs. Hồ Thị Mai Hương, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, attended the event.

The programme was organised by the Department of Science, Technology and Digital Transformation, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, and Industry and Trade Magazine, aiming to encourage officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers to foster creativity, actively propose initiatives, and apply science, technology, and digital transformation in their work.

At the ceremony, the “Every Day an Initiative” emulation campaign was officially launched, alongside the start of the “Innovation Solution Group – Digital Transformation in Industry and Trade” competition, and the activation of the online portal for initiative submissions. The programme also introduced a channel for receiving initiatives, guidance on participating in the competition, and recorded statements of support from worker representatives.

In 2026, more than 5,000 initiatives from staff and workers across Vinachem generated benefits exceeding VND 100 billion. This achievement has helped foster a spirit of creative labour, encouraging staff to continue proposing initiatives and improvements across the Group’s units.

In addition to launching activities, the event featured the participation of the AI MOIT Innovation reception robot and a humanoid robot, which were involved in welcoming, guiding, interacting, and performing, helping to demonstrate practical applications of technology in daily operations.
