Vinachem Delegation Visits and Extends Lunar New Year Greetings to Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals JSC
On February 3, 2026, a delegation from Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) visited, held a working session, and extended Lunar New Year greetings to Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse 2026 and the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Members’ Council, and Director General of the Group. Accompanying him were Mr. Nguyễn Văn Quý – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thu Bình – Member of the Members’ Council; and Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.
Representing Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals JSC in welcoming and working with the delegation were Ms. Lưu Thanh Hồng – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyễn Công Huân – Director General; along with other members of the company’s leadership and key staff.
At the working session, company leaders presented an overview of 2025 production and business results amid a fertilizer market marked by fluctuations and rising input and logistics costs. By proactively adjusting plans, diversifying products, and strengthening cost governance, the company fulfilled and exceeded many key targets assigned by the Group.
Specifically, industrial production value reached over VND 1,147 billion, exceeding the plan by 18%; total revenue surpassed VND 1,705 billion, achieving 138% of the plan; after-tax profit reached over VND 2.4 billion; and average employee income reached VND 10.3 million per person per month, continuing to be maintained and improved. At the same time, the company ensured full employment, properly implemented policies and benefits, and took care of employees’ material and spiritual well-being, especially during the Lunar New Year of 2026.
Speaking at the session, Director General Nguyễn Hữu Tú expressed his pleasure at directly visiting the company’s production workshops and acknowledged positive improvements in management and workplace environment investment. Workshops have become greener, cleaner, and more orderly, with many welfare facilities for employees receiving increased attention and visible enhancement. He congratulated and highly appreciated the solidarity and efforts of the company’s leadership and workforce in overcoming difficulties and exceeding assigned production and business targets.
Entering 2026 – the first year of implementing the 2026–2030 Development Plan – the Director General expressed confidence that, with its tradition of unity and spirit of proactiveness and creativity, Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals JSC will continue to achieve breakthroughs and secure successes from the very beginning of the year, creating a solid foundation for the next development phase.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Group’s leadership, Director General Nguyễn Hữu Tú extended his best New Year wishes to all officers, employees, and their families, wishing them health, happiness, and continued success in the year ahead.
