01:37 PM @ Monday - 12 January, 2026

On January 6, 2026, Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM) issued Joint Directive No. 16/CTLT-HCVN on launching the 2026 emulation movement across the entire Group.

In 2025, amid ongoing global economic difficulties and challenges caused by declining aggregate demand, tight monetary policies, rising exchange rates, and complex developments related to the Russia–Ukraine conflict as well as tensions in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, domestic production and business activities—including those of VINACHEM—were significantly affected. Nevertheless, under the close leadership of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance, and through the collective efforts and solidarity of all cadres, officials, employees, and workers, the Group overcame difficulties, promoted emulation in production and business, ensured social welfare, jobs, and income for workers, successfully fulfilled assigned targets, and continued to affirm its position as a strong national economic group.

The year 2026 marks the convening of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, and the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress. In order to successfully accomplish the assigned economic and political tasks, the Group’s General Director and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union officially launched the 2026 emulation movement with key focal areas.

Accordingly, VINACHEM will intensify communication and mobilization efforts to encourage cadres, officials, employees, and workers to unite and actively participate in emulation movements—especially creative labor, cost saving, quality improvement, and product cost reduction—thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the Group’s production and business activities. Key targets include: industrial production value (at current prices) of VND 65,443 billion; consolidated revenue of VND 71,463 billion; consolidated profit of VND 3,041 billion; and the assurance of employment, income, and effective implementation of social welfare policies.

At the same time, the Group will actively participate in emulation movements launched by the Government and ministries, such as “Emulation in Applying Science and Technology to Production and Business” and “Accelerating Digital Transformation and Green Transformation”; promote the Lao Rock Salt Project on schedule; and continue to strengthen the study and implementation of Ho Chi Minh Thought, ethics, and style in conjunction with building a contingent of cadres and civil servants who are “Loyal, Responsible, Integrity-driven, and Innovative.”

The Directive also requires all units to strictly implement the Government’s resolutions and directives on the 2026 Socio-Economic Development Plan; coordinate with mass organizations to promote the campaign “Vietnamese People Prioritize Vietnamese Goods,” conduct procurement via the VinachemMart platform, and comply with internal consumption regulations. In addition, units must effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations, organize workers’ conferences in accordance with regulations, ensure employment, income, and policies for workers, and strengthen occupational safety and health, fire and explosion prevention, and environmental protection—especially during the Lunar New Year (Bính Ngọ) 2026.

The 2026 emulation movement is closely linked with promoting cultural, artistic, and sports activities to enhance workers’ spiritual life, as well as selecting exemplary projects to be inaugurated in celebration of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union. The Group will continue to effectively implement social welfare activities, mobilize contributions to the VINACHEM Social Welfare Fund 2026, care for and support workers in difficult circumstances and communities affected by natural disasters, and promote the “Chemical Industry Warm Homes” movement.

Through the 2026 emulation movement, VINACHEM’s leadership calls on all cadres, officials, employees, and workers to uphold the tradition of unity and innovation, join hands with determination, and strive to successfully achieve socio-economic targets, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam National Chemical Group.
