Vinachem Meets with Fortune Southeast Asia Regarding Participation in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 Ranking

On the afternoon of April 7, 2026, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) held a working session with the editorial leadership of Fortune Southeast Asia to discuss issues related to participation in the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking.

Attending the meeting on behalf of Vinachem were Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – General Director; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Luyện – Deputy General Director; Mr. Trần Quốc Cương – Chief Accountant; and representatives from the Planning & Business, Communications & Development, Technical, Investment, and Finance & Accounting departments.

Representing Fortune Southeast Asia were Ms. Ang Khoon Fong – Executive Director, Fortune Asia; Mr. Andrew Staples – Executive Director, Editorial Board; Ms. Jenny Lee – Vice President of Development and Partnerships; and Ms. Charmian Choo – Senior Manager, Fortune Asia Listings Department.

During the session, both parties discussed the process, evaluation criteria, and methods for data collection and verification serving the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking. Ms. Ang Khoon Fong highly appreciated Vinachem's role in the supply chain for basic chemicals, fertilizers, and key input materials for numerous sectors of Vietnam’s economy. She also recommended that the Group thoroughly prepare dossiers, financial data, business operations reports, and sustainable development indicators in accordance with international standards.

Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú emphasized that participation in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is not only an opportunity to promote the Group’s image and brand within the region, but also a driving force for Vinachem to continue enhancing its management capacity, information transparency, data standardization according to international practices, and to foster its sustainable development strategy.

To ensure timely registration for the ranking, the General Director assigned the Planning & Business Department to lead the compilation of dossiers and to coordinate with specialized departments in reviewing and completing all required information and data per the request of the Fortune Southeast Asia Editorial Board, striving to complete the process ahead of schedule.

The meeting demonstrated Vinachem’s determination to gradually affirm its position as one of Vietnam’s leading chemical groups on the Southeast Asian corporate map, aiming for management and development standards in line with international best practices.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 is an annual ranking published by Fortune Southeast Asia, honoring the 500 largest revenue-generating enterprises in Southeast Asia. Inclusion in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 not only recognizes the scale and efficiency of business operations but also demonstrates the company’s level of integration, management standardization, and sustainable development according to international norms.
