Vinachem Participates in and Sponsors the VPBank Hanoi International Marathon 2026 (VPIM 2026)
On the morning of 18 October 2026, the VPBank Hanoi International Marathon 2026 (VPIM 2026) took place in Hanoi, attracting over 11,000 athletes from 38 countries and territories. With the theme “Hanoi Vibes – The City Moves”, the event brought a vibrant sporting atmosphere to routes steeped in the history and culture of the capital.
As a sponsor under the event’s media partnership programme, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) not only contributed to the overall success of the marathon but also actively participated through a team of runners comprising staff from the parent company.
From 1:30 a.m., athletes set off across the 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km distances. The race began at Dinh Tien Hoang Street by Hoan Kiem Lake, taking participants past many of Hanoi’s iconic landmarks. For the 42 km route, runners experienced destinations such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Thien Quang Lake, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Flag Tower of Hanoi, and crossed the Long Bien, Nhat Tan, and Dong Tru bridges.
Vinachem’s delegation at the marathon included Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Dũng – Deputy General Director. Vinachem’s support for VPIM 2026 reflects the Group’s commitment to sports, community activities, and building corporate culture. Through the marathon, Vinachem’s image is associated with health, resilience, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges—values that are particularly meaningful for its staff in their daily work and production.
