On January 29, a working delegation of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), led by Comrade Phung Quang Hiep—Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, and Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Group—paid visits to extend Lunar New Year greetings and encourage employees at Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company (Vipesco), Southern Battery Joint Stock Company (Pinaco), and Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (Casumina).

Joining the delegation were Comrade Nguyen Van Quy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, and Comrade Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.

Caring for both production and employees’ livelihoods

At the units visited, the delegation listened to reports on 2025 production and business results, plans for production organization, duty rosters, and operations during the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, as well as policies to take care of employees’ material and spiritual well-being.

At Vipesco, despite market difficulties and adverse weather conditions, including natural disasters and flooding, the Company maintained stable production and business operations and exceeded its planned targets. On that basis, Vipesco implemented comprehensive Lunar New Year welfare policies for employees, including a Western New Year bonus equivalent to one month’s salary and an average Lunar New Year bonus of around two months’ salary per employee. The Company also supported travel expenses for employees working away from their hometowns, provided Tet gifts such as ST25 rice, and promptly visited and assisted employees in particularly difficult circumstances.

Alongside Tet welfare activities, Vipesco proactively developed appropriate production plans for the holiday period, arranged duty personnel reasonably to ensure safe and uninterrupted operation of essential production stages, and strengthened measures on occupational safety, fire and explosion prevention, security, and readiness to handle arising situations, thereby maintaining stable operations throughout the Tet holiday.

At Pinaco, 2025 was a year in which the Company had to both maintain growth and implement relocation and production restructuring. Nevertheless, Pinaco ensured stable employment, with average income reaching VND 16.6 million per person per month; consolidated revenue increased by approximately 10% compared to 2024, and export turnover exceeded VND 1 trillion for the first time. During the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Company provided an average Tet bonus equivalent to 2.5 months of income, along with various social welfare activities to support employees and their families.

At the same time, Pinaco placed strong emphasis on organizing Tet duty rosters at its plants and factories. Duty forces were fully arranged by department to ensure equipment safety, stable production, and timely fulfillment of early-year orders. Measures on occupational safety and health, environmental protection, and fire prevention were strengthened, creating a favorable foundation for production from the very first days of spring.

At Casumina, alongside its production and business tasks, the Company continued to identify employee welfare as a central and ongoing priority. Casumina invested more than VND 10 billion to improve working conditions and organized various activities to care for and motivate employees. During the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Company provided an average Tet bonus of approximately VND 42 million per employee, along with many practical gifts, helping employees feel secure, stay committed, and enjoy a full and warm Tet holiday.

Regarding production organization during Tet, Casumina instructed its member units to strictly arrange duty rosters, maintain essential production stages in line with requirements of safety, efficiency, and cost savings. Measures to protect assets, ensure security and order, and prevent and fight fires were implemented synchronously, while ensuring full compliance with policies for employees on Tet duty in accordance with regulations.

Placing employees at the center of development

Speaking at the working sessions, Chairman of the Members’ Council Phung Quang Hiep highly appreciated the efforts of the units in maintaining stable production while taking good care of employees’ livelihoods, jobs, and welfare, especially during the nation’s traditional Lunar New Year. He emphasized that the Lunar New Year is a sacred cultural value associated with reunion, sharing, and gratitude; therefore, Vinachem has always attached great importance to maintaining the tradition of visiting, extending New Year greetings, and encouraging employees at the beginning of each year.

The Chairman affirmed that Vinachem’s consistent viewpoint is to place employees at the center, considering the care of livelihoods, employment, and welfare as the foundation for sustainable development. In a context of ongoing challenges, the spirit of solidarity, discipline, and unity within the collective is the decisive factor enabling the entire system to enter 2026 with renewed confidence and momentum.

On behalf of the Group’s leadership, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep extended his best wishes to all officers, employees, and their families for a healthy, happy, and prosperous Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. He also expressed confidence that the units would effectively implement their tasks from the very beginning of the year, successfully fulfill assigned targets and plans, and make positive contributions to Vinachem’s goal of rapid yet sustainable growth and development.
