In the first two months of 2026, Vietnam exported approximately 449,319 tons of fertilizers, valued at USD 186.58 million, representing an increase of 34.47% in volume and 38.76% in value compared to the same period in 2025.

According to preliminary data from the General Department of Customs, in February 2026, Vietnam exported 196,722 tons, worth USD 85.43 million, at an average price of USD 434.3 per ton. Compared to January 2026, this reflects a decrease of 22.1% in volume and 15.5% in value, but an increase of 8.5% in price. Compared to February 2025, exports increased by 5.3% in volume, 15.7% in value, and 9.9% in price.

Overall, in the first two months of 2026, exports reached 449,319 tons, valued at USD 186.58 million, with an average price of USD 415.3 per ton, up 34.5% in volume, 38.8% in value, and 3.2% in price year-on-year.

Cambodia was the largest export market, accounting for 18.4% of total volume and 18.5% of total value, with 82,700 tons worth USD 34.6 million, at an average price of USD 418.4 per ton.

Compared to the same period in 2025, volume slightly decreased by 0.4%, while value increased by 20.2% and price rose by 20.7%.

Malaysia ranked second with 29,272 tons, valued at USD 14.09 million, at an average price of USD 481.5 per ton, down 11.5% in volume but up 7.9% in value and 21.9% in price, accounting for 6.5% of volume and 7.6% of value.

The Philippines followed with 23,398 tons, valued at USD 12.11 million, at an average price of USD 517.4 per ton, increasing 22% in volume, 58.1% in value, and 29.6% in price, accounting for 5.2% of volume and 6.5% of value.

Overall, fertilizer exports to most markets in the first two months of 2026 increased in both volume and value compared to the same period in 2025.
