Hindalco raises aluminium prices by 7,500 rupees/T
MUMBAI Aug 3 (Reuters) - Leading Indian aluminium makerHindalco Industries (HALC.BO: Quote) is raising aluminium prices by7,500 rupees ($163) per tonne effective immediately on higherworld prices, Chief Financial Officer Sunirmal Talukdar toldreporters.
Earlier on Tuesday, Hindalco beat market forecasts to postan 11 percent rise in June quarter standalone net profit.($1 = 46.1 rupees)
