LME Copper declines 1.57% to $7853/ ton
LONDON (Commodity Online): London Metal Exchange base metal prices showed a mixed trend on Tuesday. Except Aluminium alloy, Nickel and Steel, all other metal prices ended in red in LME market.
LME Copper dipped by 1.57% to $7853 a metric ton, a four-month low on Tuesday after Greece said it will hold new elections and investors worried that the country might exit the euro zone.
LME Price Highlights:
--Aluminium alloy advanced 0.26% to $1885 a metric ton
--Aluminium slipped 0.12% to $1978.50 per metric ton
--Copper dipped 1.57% to $7853 a metric ton
--Lead dipped 0.49% to $2016 per metric ton
--Nickel advanced 0.02% to $16980 a metric ton
--Tin dipped 0.74% to $20100 per metric ton
--Zinc slipped 0.1% to $1917.50 a metric ton
--Steel gained 5.58% to $454 per metric ton
