LME Copper prices decline to $8255.50/ton
LONDON (Commodity Online): London Metal Exchange base metal prices showed a mixed trend on Tuesday. Aluminium alloy, Aluminium, Copper and Steel prices showed a negative trend in LME market.
LME Copper dipped to its lowest in a month on Tuesday, pressured by soft Chinese copper import figures and a bearish wider economic backdrop after Friday's disappointing U.S. employment data sent share prices lower and bund yields lower.
LME Price Highlights:
--Aluminium alloy slipped 0.5% to $1960 a metric ton
--Aluminium slipped 0.14% to $2050 per metric ton
--Copper dipped 1.03% to $8255.50 a metric ton
--Lead gained 2.2% to $ 2037 per metric ton
--Nickel advanced 0.81% to $ 18005 a metric ton
--Tin gained 1.44% to $22800 per metric ton
--Zinc gained 1.13% to $ 1997.50 a metric ton
--Steel slipped 1.03% to $480 per metric ton
