TOCOM Rubber flat, crude up; NMCE rubber mixed
TOKYO (Commodity Online): All contracts of TOCOM rubber are trading flat. Near month June contract was seen trading at 414 yen registering a loss of 1.5 yen as on 10.19 IST(13.40 JST). Far month November contract is trading at 386.2 yen, a loss of 1.4 yen.
Crude oil prices slumped 4.6% Wednesday, a loss which markets pared later on believing that the slump was exaggerated.
July crude jumped as much as 73 cents to $95.54 a barrel in electronic trading on the NYMEX which was seen trading at $95.52 at 12:46 p.m. Sydney time. The contract on Wednesday fell $4.56 to $94.81, which is the lowest since Feb. 22. Prices are 23 percent higher the past year, reported Bloomberg.
NMCE July contract rubber was trading at Rs.23105subsequent to touching a high of Rs.23149 and a low of Rs.23101. Far month December contract was seen trading at Rs.22700 where it opened at the same price.
