Ho Minh Nhat – LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company: Two Innovations Inspired by Everyday Observations
After many years working on the production line at the Binh Duong Branch of LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company, Ho Minh Nhat, Head of Production Team 2, has developed a simple habit: carefully observing the equipment during every shift. Whenever he notices something that could be improved, he records it, discusses it with his colleagues, and looks for a practical solution. The improvements that have since been implemented all began with these everyday observations.
In the first quarter of 2026, Ho Minh Nhat was among the individuals honored by Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) with the Outstanding Worker Certificate of Merit in recognition of his job performance and contributions to technical improvement initiatives at the Company.
As Head of Production Team 2, he works with his team to ensure that the production line operates smoothly while meeting production schedules and product quality requirements. During the first quarter of 2026, the team achieved 100% of its production target. According to Nhat, maintaining uninterrupted production requires close monitoring of every stage and timely coordination among all team members whenever issues arise.
At the beginning of 2026, two of his initiatives were officially recognized by the General Director of LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company and implemented in production.
The first initiative involved utilizing the automatic preservative weighing tank system to supply raw materials simultaneously to mixing lines 1 through 6. Previously, raw material feeding required multiple manual operations. Following the improvement, raw materials are supplied more consistently, operators perform fewer manual tasks, and the production line operates more smoothly and continuously.
His second initiative addressed dust generated around the intermediate hopper during production. After observing the issue on site, he proposed enclosing the area and installing a dust extraction system. Although the solution required only minor modifications to the existing equipment, it significantly reduced dust levels and improved working conditions for employees.
Both initiatives originated from practical issues encountered during daily production. The solutions were developed, tested, and refined directly on the factory floor before being introduced into regular operation.
The two initiatives recognized in early 2026 were not major technological breakthroughs. Instead, they grew out of the routine tasks performed every day on the production line. Through these practical improvements, Ho Minh Nhat and his colleagues have continued to refine the production process—one small improvement at a time.
