On the afternoon of March 30, 2026, the Dry Cell & Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (PINACO) successfully held its 2026 Employees’ Conference. Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Members, and General Director of the Group; Mr. Chu Văn Giáp – Member of the Group’s Board of Members; Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; along with delegates representing PINACO employees.

2025: Overcoming Hardships, Marking Achievements

2025 was a year filled with challenges for PINACO, as global economic and political fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and sharp fluctuations in lead and energy prices coincided with increasingly fierce domestic competition. The relocation of the Đồng Nai Battery Factory from July 2025, as required by the provincial authorities, also led to reduced output and additional costs.

Despite these obstacles, PINACO achieved many key metrics: revenue reached VND 4,259 billion (106% of the plan, up 11% from 2024), with export revenue at VND 1,012 billion (up 25%); battery sales volume reached 2,382 thousand kWh (up 14%); and profit reached VND 150 billion.

2025 also marked the seventh consecutive year PINACO earned the National Brand title, was recognized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee as one of the 50 outstanding enterprises, and received the Emulation Flag from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union.

The company continued to care for employees’ well-being, with average income at VND 16.995 million/person/month, up 4% from the previous year, maintained insurance

packages, awarded Tet bonuses equivalent to three months’ salary, and organized vacations for 571 employees. Internal social welfare efforts were emphasized: 64 disadvantaged employees received housing and critical illness support, and 127 elderly parents of employees were honored, totaling VND 638 million in expenditures. Care for employees’ children was methodically implemented, with gifts for 1,905 children, awards for 398 students with excellent academic achievements, 26 university entrants, and 18 recipients of the Nguyễn Đức Cảnh scholarship, totaling VND 462 million.

Cultural and sports activities were vibrant, from emulation cluster sports festivals and Pickleball tournaments to the “Union Meal” program, which attracted 1,083 participants. PINACO also actively engaged in social and charitable work, donating VND 847 million to Central Vietnam, supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, assisting the Retirees’ Liaison Board, and participating in the “Greening Trường Sa” program, with total social and charity spending exceeding VND 2.4 billion.

On innovation, 135 ideas were proposed, 83 recognized as initiatives, generating estimated benefits of VND 650 million, including two initiatives awarded the Creative Labor Certificate. Occupational safety was ensured, with no workplace accidents or environmental incidents.

2026: Proactive – Decisive – Efficient – Breakthrough

In 2026, PINACO aims for at least 10% growth, with a planned revenue of VND 4,800 billion, profit of VND 200 billion, and export revenue of at least VND 1,200 billion. The company will focus on increasing battery sales by 20%, expanding B2B channels, developing OEM customers, diversifying export markets to North America and Russia, optimizing costs, enhancing equipment efficiency, and reducing the warranty rate to 1.2–1.4%. Two new plants in An Phước Industrial Park and VSIP Bắc Ninh are expected to be completed, strengthening long-term production capacity.

PINACO continues to research environmentally friendly batteries such as energy storage batteries and sodium batteries, streamline its organization, apply AI and digital transformation in management, and implement a transparent 3P–KPI-based salary system to motivate employees and ensure stable incomes.

Group General Director’s Directive

At the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, General Director of the Group, emphasized that 2025 was a year of tremendous challenges and economic volatility at both domestic and international levels. Thanks to proactivity, innovation, and the unity of the entire system, both the Group and PINACO successfully fulfilled their assigned objectives and tasks.

The General Director also highly appreciated PINACO’s contributions to brand development, participation in national fairs and exhibitions, and the introduction of consumer products—especially batteries and accumulators trusted and regarded as “national products” by consumers. He affirmed that PINACO is a key unit, continuing to implement the Group’s strategic missions in the field of electrochemistry and energy storage batteries, and a core force in deploying projects for innovation, production capacity enhancement, digital transformation, green growth, and the national energy strategy.

Looking ahead to 2026, the General Director called on all PINACO officers and employees to continue fostering creativity and innovation, enhancing business efficiency, maintaining leadership in the traditional lead-acid battery market, and promoting the development of next-generation batteries (Lithium, Sodium) for industrial, transportation, and household needs. He stressed that investing in human resource development, training core personnel, launching emulation movements and technological innovation initiatives, improving the working environment, and caring for employees’ well-being are all crucial for PINACO’s sustainable, breakthrough growth and contribution to the Group’s overall success.

Concluding his remarks, the General Director acknowledged and sincerely thanked the management, key officers, and all PINACO employees for their efforts and achievements in 2025. He also wished PINACO outstanding success in accomplishing the 2026 objectives, contributing to the growing stature and brand of Vietnam National Chemical Group in both domestic and international markets.

At the conference, key contents were addressed, including financial reports, the People’s Inspectorate report, direct dialogue with leadership, the signing of the 2026 Collective Labor Agreement, announcement of commendations, and voting to adopt the Employees’ Conference Resolution.

Closing the conference, PINACO’s management and employees demonstrated unity, resilience, and determination to achieve the 2026 goals. With a solid foundation from 2025 and clear direction, PINACO is confident in maintaining its leadership in the domestic battery industry, expanding internationally, and contributing to the nation’s green, sustainable development goals.
