On June 27, 2026, in Hanoi, Van Dien Fused Phosphate Fertilizer Joint Stock Company was honored with the title "Outstanding Enterprise in Green Economic Development 2026" as part of the media program "Building a Green Economy, Promoting Quality Vietnamese Goods, Towards the Interests of Consumers, Enterprises, and Distinguished Intellectual Entrepreneurs 2026."

The program was organized by the Institute of Development Issues in collaboration with the Institute of Economics and Culture and the Vietnam Consumer Protection Center to honor enterprises with outstanding achievements in green economic development, environmental protection, product quality improvement, building Vietnamese brands, and fulfilling social responsibility to the community.

According to the organizers, after more than three months of launching, the program received over 300 applications from businesses nationwide. Following a rigorous and objective evaluation by the selection council, with the participation of experts, more than 100 outstanding enterprises were chosen for recognition, including Van Dien Fused Phosphate Fertilizer JSC.

The title "Outstanding Enterprise in Green Economic Development 2026" is a well-deserved acknowledgment of the company's tireless efforts in developing production in tandem with environmental protection, applying modern technology, and striving for sustainable development goals.

Founded in 1960, Van Dien Fused Phosphate Fertilizer JSC is one of Vietnam’s long-established fertilizer manufacturers. Over more than 60 years of development, the company has made significant contributions to the country’s agriculture sector and has been honored by the Party and State with many prestigious awards, such as the Labor Hero in the Renovation Period, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, along with numerous orders and certificates of merit from the Government, ministries, and localities.

In recent years, the company has continuously invested in technological innovation, modernizing production lines, and applying scientific and technical advances to improve productivity, product quality, and minimize environmental impact. The company prioritizes the use of raw materials that meet quality and environmentally friendly standards, while also building a green, clean, and safe working environment for employees.

Additionally, the company has made comprehensive investments and effectively operated systems for wastewater, exhaust gas, dust, and noise treatment, ensuring all environmental indicators meet current standards before discharge.

Production activities are always aimed at harmonizing economic efficiency with environmental protection responsibilities, contributing to the development of the fertilizer industry in a greener, more modern, and sustainable direction.

Beyond focusing on production development, the company also fully implements policies for employees, ensuring wages, social insurance, health insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, and other benefits as prescribed. The enterprise also strictly complies with legal regulations on taxes, environmental protection, labor safety, and other obligations to the State.

Being honored as an "Outstanding Enterprise in Green Economic Development 2026" further affirms the prestige, position, and contributions of Van Dien Fused Phosphate Fertilizer JSC in the development of a green and sustainable agriculture sector. This recognition also serves as motivation for the enterprise to continue innovating technology, improving product quality, promoting green production, and contributing to the country’s green growth strategy as well as the sustainable development orientation of the Vietnam National Chemical Group.
