Under the direction of leaders of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), in early April, the Planning-Marketing Department and other members of the Group attended "The Vietnamese Goods Fair 2010 in Myanmar " which was organized by Ministry of Trade and Industry. Taking place from 2th to 6th April 2010, the Fair has a total of 84 booths in which are 07 pavilions of Vinachem including stands of the Group, The Southern Fertilizers Company (SFC ), Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company (VIPESCO), Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (Pinaco), Can Tho Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (CFC), The Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA), Viet- Duc Welding Electrode Joint Stock Company (VIWELCO).
Up to now, this is the biggest fair held by Vietnam in Myanmar with the participation of 71 Vietnamese enterprises and 11 Burmese enterprises. Thus, Vinachem`s participation at this Fair is very critical not only to introduce production capacities, potentialities business environment, investment promotion, advertise brand and image of businesses in the Group but also to boost the export of its products.
At the fair, the pavilions of the Group mainly focuses on the introduction of commodities: fertilizers, pesticides, rubber products, dry cells and storage batteries, detergents, welding rods, etc. The Group's booth was appreciated by fair organizers from the stage of organization, arrangement and decoration of display products as well as compliance with the provisions of the Fair. All the Group's members brought to the fair the samples of their products, catalog, and introduction brochures. Particularly, some CFC`s detergent products were sold at the fair.
During the fair, a number of Vinachem`s members (CFC, Pinaco, SFC and VIPESCO) have negotiation with Myanmar partners to provide goods or establish dealers in this market.
Also at the fair, it was the honour of Vinachem`s booths to welcome the visit and photograph taken of Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung - The Prime Minister, Mr. Vo Hong Phuc - Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr Chu Cong Phung - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Myanmar and Mr. Hoang Thinh Lam – commercial counselor of Vietnam in Myanmar.
