Petrol prices fall slightly following latest adjustment

Retail sale prices of oil and petrol were adjusted down from 3 p.m. on December 26 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON 92 was cut by VND430 per litre to be not higher than VND19,810 per litre, while that of RON95-III fell by VND460 to VND20,540 per litre at the maximum.

Elsewhere, the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were capped at VND18,630 per litre and VND18,700 per litre, decreasing by VND100 and VND260 per litre, respectively.

Meanwhile, Mazut 180CST 3.5S was sold at no more than VND15,970 per kilogram, increasing by VND70.

For the latest price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to extract the petrol price stabilization fund.

Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 51 adjustments, with 25 times up and 26 times down. Meanwhile, oil prices have experienced 22 times up and 29 times down.   – Source: VOV –
