East German businesses seek ties
HA NOI — Business representatives from Germany's eastern region will meet their Vietnamese counterparts over the next four days in both Ha Noi and HCM City to exchange opportunities for new business.
The meetings, being held by Germany Trade&Invest and the German Industry and Commerce Viet Nam, are also aimed at building infrastructure to support business.
German Ambassador Rolf Schulze and Chief Executive of Germany Trade&Invest, Michael Pfeiffer, will highlight German-Vietnamese Year 2010.
Trade between the two countries increased by 13 per cent to hit US$4.6 billion (EUR 3.3 billion) last year.
