Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung has said that one of the ministry’s top priorities in 2016 and following years is public debt management.
There will have short-term policy changes and long-term programs and plans to ensure public debt safety and effective debt management.
At first it is necessary to re-estimate and revise the Public Debt Management Law, submit it to the National Assembly for approval.
The public debt strategy by 2020 with visions until 2030 would be adjusted to suit new requirements on nationally financial security.
The ministry will focus on restructuring budget revenue policy to boost production and trading, meet internationally integration requirements including tax cut and ensure balanced budget.
