Petrol prices fall for fourth time in a row this year

Petrol prices have reduced for the fourth consecutive time this year by VND961 to VND13,752 a liter of Ron 92 since 3p.m. Yesterday in line with instructions by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of ethanol gasoline blend E5 slid VND942 to VND13,321 a liter.

Oil prices remain unchanged. However there is some change in businesses’ contribution level to the price subsidization fund now. Specifically they are required to contribute VND539 a liter of diesel sold, VND589 a liter of kerosene and VND35 a kilogram of mazut.

That was the fourth time in a row of petrol price cut this year. The latest time was on February 3 when it dropped VND730 a liter.
