Vinachem Partners with EM Normandie Business School (France) and the Academy of Public Administration and Governance to Train Senior Leadership

On July 6, 2026, in Le Havre, France, a delegation from the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) led by General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú attended the Opening Ceremony of the Senior Leadership and Management Development Program and the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Vinachem, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance (under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics), and EM Normandie Business School. This marks an important milestone in the strategy to develop high-quality human resources, helping to enhance international-standard management capabilities to meet the development and integration needs of the Group in the new era.

Attending the program on Vinachem’s side were Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – General Director; Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Minh – Member of the Members’ Council; Mr. Trần Văn Long – Controller; Mr. Trần Quốc Cương – Chief Accountant; leaders of functional departments and member units. On the partners’ side were Ms. Anne-Sophie Courtier – General Director of EM Normandie; Mr. Olivier Kovarski – Director of International Programs; representatives of the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, as well as professors and experts from both educational institutions.

Founded in 1871 in Le Havre, EM Normandie Business School is one of France’s oldest and most prestigious business schools. With EQUIS and AACSB accreditations, EM Normandie is among the top 1% of business schools worldwide and has an extensive training partnership network across Europe and globally. With strengths in leadership, strategic management, innovation, and digital transformation, EM Normandie has partnered with many international organizations and has significant experience training Vietnamese management delegations.

Organizing the program at EM Normandie not only launches Vinachem’s senior leadership training course but also marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the Group and leading domestic and international educational institutions.

At the ceremony, Ms. Anne-Sophie Courtier praised Vinachem’s development achievements and growing status in Vietnam’s chemical industry. According to her, with a dynamic development orientation, a vision for integration, and a commitment to innovation, Vinachem is a highly promising partner for the school to implement training, research, and high-quality human resources development programs to international standards.

A highlight of the program was the signing of a tripartite MOU between Vinachem, the Academy of Public Administration and Governance, and EM Normandie. The MOU establishes a cooperation framework for 2026–2030 to build a training, development, and leadership ecosystem for Vinachem and its member units to international standards.

According to the MOU, the parties will jointly implement international senior leadership training programs for the Group’s leaders and member units; organize study tours and practical research programs at chemical corporations, pioneering green transition enterprises, innovation centers, and research institutions in Europe; and collaborate on strategic human resources consulting, leadership competency frameworks, succession training, and knowledge sharing through seminars, forums, and international dialogues. The cooperation focuses on key fields such as strategic management, OECD principles-based governance, digital transformation, innovation, sustainability, green transition, and international integration.

In his speech, General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú emphasized that the world is witnessing profound changes in technology, management models, and sustainable development requirements. In this context, Vinachem aims to become a modern, sustainable chemical industrial group with regional and international competitiveness. To realize this goal, developing human resources, especially management and leadership teams at all levels, is a decisive task.

The General Director affirmed that Vinachem always considers training and developing staff as a strategic breakthrough. Cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration and Governance and EM Normandie will allow the Group’s leaders to access advanced management models, update global trends, and enhance strategic planning, risk management, digital transformation, and enterprise management capabilities in the new context. The cooperation program will also promote exchange and cooperation in training and human resources development, contributing practically to the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and France.

He also urged trainees to embrace a spirit of serious study, actively absorb international knowledge and experience, and engage with experts and scholars to creatively apply what they learn to management and operations, thereby improving efficiency, building a high-quality workforce, and achieving Vinachem’s double-digit growth goals for 2026–2030.

The senior leadership development program and tripartite MOU signing reaffirm Vinachem’s determination to invest in high-quality human resources development—one of the key foundations for achieving international-standard corporate governance. This is also a concrete step to strengthen cooperation between business and educational partners, promote green and digital transformation, foster innovation, enhance competitiveness, and drive Vinachem’s rapid and sustainable growth in the integration era.
