Morning Jun 19, in Bac Giang province, Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer and Chemical Limited Company (Hanichemco) organized Inauguration ceremony of revamping and expanding Ha Bac Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant to raise capacity from 180,000 tonnes to 500,000 tonnes per year.

Attending the anniversary were Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Hoang Trung Hai; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong; Chairman of Bac Giang province Mr. Nguyen Van Linh … About Vinachem were Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council members; General Director Mr. Nguyen Gia Tuong, deputy director and the Group’s leadership.

The renovation and expansion project plant is key development strategy of Vinachem with total investment value over 568 million USD, the No. 2 production line of plant used the most modern technology, ensuring environmental safety.

The project was started construction in late 2010, after nearly 50 months and put into operation, not only supply of urea in domestic but also towards the export market.

In 2014, despite difficulties caused by oil and coal prices fell around the world, making urea price decreases, but Company has finished production business target. In particular, nitrogenous fertilizer production reached 168,700 tonnes, industrial production value reached more than 1,730 billion VND, revenue reached 1,971 billion VND, profit before tax reached 120 billion VND, pay to state budget 110 billion VND, ensure stable employment for over 1,900 employees with average income more than 9,000,000 / person / month.

Speaking at the anniversary, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Hoang Trung Hai assess, this is an important project in the strategic development of chemical industry in producing fertilizer to meet the demand of agricultural production, ensure food security national. The project is the result of policies to encourage the development of industries serving agriculture, contributing to meet the demand of the north, Central province and the whole country.

Deputy Prime Minister urgently recommend the company completed the testing and adjusting the production line, to strengthen management and synchronization solutions, effective for quickly bringing plants into stable operation, ensure the project targets. Especially, it should be taken seriously, ensuring efficiency and safety production, environmental safety, response measures and maneuvers with the situations that may occur in chemical incidents.
