VINACHEM

On Aug 6th 2010, at New World Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern Fertilizers Joint Stock Company (SFC) - a member of Vinachem - held its first Shareholders' Meeting. Attending the Meeting, there were Mr. Lai Cao Hien - Member of VInachem's Management Board cum Head of Enterprise Renovating Board, Mr. Vu Tiend Dzung - Chairman of Vinachem's Trade Union, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Head of Accounting and Financing Department, Mr. Vu Nhat Tam - Deputy Head of Personnel - Organisation Department, and 100 shareholders owning 95.5% of SFC's shares.

SFC's total charter capital of 377,000,000,000 VND was divided into 37,700,000 shares of 10,000 VND/share. The Company operates in fields such as producing and trading supersphosphate fertilizers, NPK, sulphuric acid, cement and other chemicals; exporting and importing fertilizers, acid, cement, agricultural products; importing equipments, machines, spare parts and materials for fertilizer and chemical production; trading packing, poultry and cattle foods; trading infrastructures and properties, etc.

At the Meeting, participants discussed and approved SFC's Operating Regulations Draft, electing the Management Board and Examination Board as well as 2010 - 2011 production and trade plan of the Company. The Management Board of SFC consists of 7 members in which there are 2 representatives from Vinachem, 4 members from the Company and 1 representative from shareholders. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat was voted Chairman of the Mangement Board cum Director of Southern Fertilizers Joint Stock Company.
