CASUMINA: Inauguration modern steel struck tire radial plant
On Apr 19, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Hoang Trung Hai attended and cutted ribboninauguration of the most modern steel truck tire Radial Casumina plant in Vietnam,at Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime MinisterHoang Trung Hai praised and highly appreciate the economic achievements of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem)in common and The Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (Casumina) inparticular with the efforts to bring construct completely the steel truck tireproduction plant is most modern in domestic into operation.
Deputy PrimeMinister said that Vinachem and Casumina has made choice technologymanufacturing steel truck tire to investment and construction plant in currentcondition is very correctly, consistent with the development planning of thechemical industry, welcomed the strategy developing of automotivetransportation in the country. On the other hand, selecting Binh Duong provinceto build the plant is praiseworthy. The cooperation between road, sea and airtransport with the ASEAN countries and international is good conditions forplant product to meet domestic demand and export to world market.
He also stressedthat the construction put plant into operation is the first step. Next is moredifficult that ensuring the safe operation of the plant, efficient, completingthe capital, and repay debt loan funds and has annual interest.Therefor, Casumina should focus on the management andtraining staff offical and employees has control modern technology, developingthe capabilities and efficiency of the production plant.
After nearly 2years of starting construction at Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone, the steel trucktire Casumina with the most modern technology in Vietnam by Vinachem andCasumina investment and put into operation production. The plant was built onan area of 120,000 m2, in which factory area nearly 70,000 m2, with capacityof 1 million tires per year, with total invested capital of 3.380 billionVND.
The strategicobjective of the Casumina Radial plant is provide steel truck tires with highlytechnology product in Vietnam, stable quality, diverse categories to supply domesticdemand and new developing market regionssuch as the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia and reach developed marketslike the U.S., North America, Europe ... /.
