Hanichemco’s patriotic emulation movement in the past five years

Hanichemco is the leading urea producer and has had a lot of extraordinaryachievements in creative production, and strengthened patriotic emulationmovements.

For the past period, in the context of global economic crisis, itsproduction and trade has faced a great deal of challenges due to its weakcompetitive ability, inflation, high material prices, especially the continuousincrease of coal price. However, thanks to the instruction of leadership, andendeavour of its officials and workers, Hanichemco has promoted solidaritytradition, creativeness, overcame difficulties, upholded Ha Bac urea trademark, finished successfully production and trade objectives, offer jobs andimprove material and emotional life for officials and workers.

During 2006 – 2010, the Company achieved the following results:

- 10% growth rate against the period from 2005 to 2010;

- 544 billion VND budget contribution, up 504% against the period from 2005to 2010;

- 3,170 billion VND industrial production value, up 395% against the periodfrom 2005 to 2010;

- 5,458 billion VND industrial production turnover, up 135% against theperiod from 2005 to 2010;

- 2,081 billion VND profit, up 668% against the period from 2005 to 2010;

- 4,587,000 VND average income/person/month, up 152% against the period from2005 to 2010.

To have above results, Hanichemco’s leadership has been awared of andfocused on accelerating patriotic emulation movements, especially “High workingcompetence”, “Creative ideas and technical innovations”, etc in its officialsand workers.

In the past five years, there have been 1,138 technical initiatives andsolutions applied, bringing 22 billion VND profit; over 100 billion VND savedfrom appropriate materials; more than 400 projects of trade unions, women’sunion, veteran’s organisation, bringing over one billion VND.

Results of five year patriotic emulation movementswill be an incentive contributing to the development of Hanichemco in thecoming years.
