Inauguration Da Nang Radial Truck Tire plant
On 29 Jun, in DaNang city, Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) and Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) inaugurated the plant produce Radial truck tire with capacity 600,000 tires/ year.
Over 38 years of development, DRC always leading tires market of Vietnam with millions of products each year.DRC is also first company and only one in Southeast Asian successful production linesuper heavy duty tires, for the mining industry to replace imports.
After the research period and survey, DRC has invested to build tire plant with capacity 600,000 radial truck tires / year,the total investment of the project is 2,992 billion VND. Theplant will create approximately 1,000 jobs for local workers, replace imports,increasing foreign exchange earnings, increasing turnover sales each year over 4,000 billion VND, increasing revenues for budget state every year on 200 billion VND, the maximum exploitation of the waterresource, reduce exports of raw materials.
On Jun 25, 2013 truck tires all steel branded DRC of Vietnam officially available in the domestic and international market.
Attending and speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Prime MinisterNguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated DRC and Vinachem has been grasp the opportunity and rightdirection in building factory Radial truck tiresfor domestic and export. BecauseDRC currently holds 25% market share of trucktires, 30% of bike tires and 15% of motorcycles tires in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister believes, with solidarity and unanimous, a long history and a network ofdistributors and large customers at domestic and international, modern technology, a team of engineers,skilled workers, DRC will reap more successfull, practical contribution to the developmentof socio-economic of Danang city and the country, deserved the title company hasthe largest contribution tax ofDa Nang city and is one in 1000 businesses have the biggest budget of Vietnam.
