VINACHEM

On July 2nd 2010, the third Patriotic Emulation Meeting of Vinachem was held in Hanoi. Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - member of Party Committee, Vice President cum Vice Chairwomen of Central Emulation and Rewarding Board, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung - member of Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai - Deputy Minister of MOIT, represenatatives of the President's Office, and representatives of MOIT attended the Meeting. Besides, there were Mr. Do Duy Phi - members of Vinachem's Management Board cum President of Vinachem, Vice Presidents of Vinachem, Mr. Vu Tien Dzung - Chairman of Vinachem's Trade Union, Heads of its Departments, Directors of its members, its joint venture companies, and former presidents of the Group.

The third Patriotic Emulation Meeting of Vinachem is organised in a context when emulation movements are being held excitingly nationwide for the celebration of great nation holidays and the 11th Party Congress. At this meeting, individuals and collectives having excellent achievements from 2005 to 2009, contributing to socialism construction and fatherland defence cause as well as 81 creative and competent labourers in chemical field are honoured. For the past five years, Party and the State have awarded many honourable presents for the Group as follows:

- Two Ho Chi Minh Medals for Vinachem;

- Independence Medal grade II for Vinachem's Trade Union;

- Ho Chi Minh Medal for 01 collective;

- Labour Hero for 02 collectives and 01 individual;

- Independence Medals for 07 collectives;

- Labour Medals for 94 collectives and inviduals;

- 193 Certificates of Prime Minister for collectives and inviduals;

- 1,069 Certificates of MOIT;

- 1,876 Certificates of Vinachem;

- 20 Emulation Flags of the Government;

- 29 Emulation Flags of MOIT;

- 44 Emulation Flags of Vinachem;

- 13 National Emulation soldiers;

- 343 MOIT Emulation soldiers;

- 3,695 Emulation soldiers at the grassroot

Speaking at the Meeting, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai - MOIT's Deputy Minister - not only highly appreciated Vinachem's patriotic emulation movements which had resulted in its production and trade success, but also encouraged officials and workers of the Group in doing their utmost to reach higher results in the coming period.

Representing Party and the State, Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - Deputy President - presented Labour Medal grade II for:

1. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, Chairman of Vinachem's Management Board;

2. Mr. Vu Tien Dzung, Chairman of Vinachem's Trade Union;

3. Mr. Vu Xuan Hoa, Chief Accountant of Vinachem;

and Labour Medal grade III for:

1. Personnel - Organisation Department of Vinachem;

2. Technical Department of Vinachem;

3. Mr. Nguyen Gia Tuong, Vice President of Vinachem;

4. Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Deputy Head of Office of Vinachem;

5. Mr. Chu Van Nguyen, Head of Technical Department of Vinachem;

6. Mr. Bui Ngo Quang, Head of Personnel - Organisation Department of Vinachem

After that, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung - Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Mr. Do Duy Phi - Vinachem's President awarded certificates for 81 creative and competent labourers among over 30,000 officials and workers of the Group.

Generally speaking, Vinachem's patriotic emulation movements have been a great driving force which encourages officials and workers in actively manufacturing, studying, and researching for the benefit not only of their own but also of the whole society. Therefore, it is believed that Vinachem will achieve better results in its fields and become a leading economic group.
