As part of the 2026 Research and Recognition Program for enterprises committed to and practicing ESG in core economic sectors, Viet Research in collaboration with Finance – Investment Newspaper has announced the Top 10 Vietnam Green ESG Companies 2026 (ESG10 – 2026) in the Processing – Manufacturing sector. 

On April 21, 2026, Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) held a working session with the National Agricultural Extension Center to agree on the orientation for implementing a comprehensive cooperation program for the period 2026–2030. The cooperation focuses on improving the effectiveness of agricultural extension activities, supporting producers in accessing quality agricultural inputs, and promoting green agriculture models and sustainable production in line with market demands. 

Vietnam’s fertilizer exports have been accelerating rapidly in the first months of this year, driven by soaring world fertilizer prices resulting from conflict in the Middle East and disruptions to global supply chains. 

Industry group Fertilizers Europe has called for revenues from the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism to be channeled directly to farmers and for a freeze of the EU Emissions Trading System free allocations until 2030, as the war in the Middle East ripples across markets, according to an April 14 press release. 

On April 19 in Ho Chi Minh City, Southern Battery Joint Stock Company (PINACO) held its 50th Anniversary Celebration (April 19, 1976 – April 19, 2026), marking a half-century of building and development.

On April 17, 2026, in Egypt, a delegation from the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) led by General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú conducted an on-site survey at the apatite mine and laboratory system of Kayan Group. This activity aimed to concretize the objective of ensuring a sustainable source of raw materials for domestic fertilizer production, following the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both parties on April 14, 2026.
