Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company recently held its 2025 Employee Representative Conference.

The conference was attended by Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, Member of the Government Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Members' Council of Vietnam Chemicals Group (Vinachem); Mr. Dao Trong Cuong, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Vinachem; and Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Union.

In 2024, Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company continued to stabilize production, stabilize product consumption markets, continue to improve management, fully implement regimes, ensure income, and have timely incentive and reward policies for employees... The production and business results in 2024 showed significant improvements.

Specifically, the value of industrial production (at actual prices) reached 1,967 billion VND, achieving 113% of the plan. Total consumption revenue in 2024 reached 1,934 billion VND, achieving 109% compared to 2023; parent company revenue reached 1,449 billion VND, an increase of 9% compared to 2023 and achieving 109% of the annual plan. The parent company's profit in 2024 was 268 billion VND (including 10 billion VND in subsidiary dividends), a decrease of 11% compared to 2023 and achieving 107% of the assigned plan. The employee and management salary fund reached 144.3 billion VND; the average number of management and employees was 635 people; the average income reached approximately 18.9 million VND/person/month.

As of December 2024, the average number of employees in 2024 was 629 people, excluding 06 company management personnel. The average salary of employees in 2024 was 18.578 million VND/person/month. The company always ensures the payment of salaries, bonuses, benefits, social insurance, and health insurance in accordance with the company's regulations and current laws.

In particular, to ensure the rights of employees, the company has periodically reviewed the Collective Labor Agreement. Accordingly, the company focuses on building a variety of welfare policies for employees regarding travel and vacation regimes; visits and condolences; payment of travel expenses for annual leave; birthday gifts; bonuses for completing plans, bonuses for holidays and Tet; care for children of management and employees on International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and rewards for children with good academic achievements and university admissions...

For retired employees, the company's leadership always cares for them by visiting, wishing them a happy new year, wishing them longevity, organizing annual friendly meetings, and visiting in cases of death. In addition, to improve welfare related to employee health, the company has implemented an "Accident and Health Insurance" package to care for and support medical examination and treatment costs or prevent risks and accidents related to employee health, which has been implemented and maintained from 2019 to date, helping employees feel secure in their work and production.

Uniting for a Growth Target over 8% 

In 2025, Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company strives to implement the 2025 plan with a growth target of 8% or more in accordance with the policy of Vietnam Chemicals Group and the Resolution of the Prime Minister. Specifically, total revenue is estimated to reach 2,048 billion VND, an increase of 8.01% compared to the implementation in 2024; parent company net revenue in 2025 (including industrial production revenue and other revenue) reaches 1,600 billion VND, an increase of 13.32% compared to the implementation in 2024; the value of industrial production at the company's actual selling price is estimated to reach 2,185 billion VND, an increase of 11% compared to the implementation in 2024.

For employees, the company strives to continue to care for and improve the lives of employees through health care policies, life care... Regarding income, the company strives for an average income of management and employees of 17.27 million VND/person/month.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phung Quang Hiep highly appreciated the company's efforts in the past time to both maintain production and business results and ensure the lives of employees. Taking good care of the lives of employees is an important factor in helping the company achieve stable growth in recent years.

Entering 2025, Vietnam Chemicals Group is striving to contribute to the country's goal of achieving 8% GDP growth. This goal is considered to have both difficulties and advantages.

Accordingly, the head of Vinachem directed Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company to promote the development of new products. In addition, the company should strengthen digital transformation and improve production and business efficiency.

To contribute to the 8% GDP growth target and double-digit growth in the following period, Mr. Phung Quang Hiep requested Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company to seriously implement streamlining and streamlining the apparatus in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18. In addition, the company should promote initiatives in production and business to achieve the set production and business targets.
